Visit from the Polish Ministry of Education

We were honored to welcome representatives from the Polish Ministry of Education to our campus, including Minister Barbara Nowacka. The visit began with a reception from our students, followed by a special performance by the Guitar and Mandolin Club that set a gracious and welcoming tone.

After a commemorative photo session, our guests participated in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. During this time, they learned about the history of our school, the role of women’s education in Japan, and the strong ties we have built through our long-standing exchange program with our sister school, Nazareth High School in Poland.

The delegation also visited our “Poland Corner,” a dedicated space that celebrates our friendship with Poland, and joined students in planting a cherry tree—a symbol of the growing bond between our schools and countries.

In the afternoon, the Minister and her team observed a “Japanese Manners (Kyoyou)” class and engaged in an open, thoughtful dialogue with our students. The exchange of perspectives created a meaningful connection and mutual understanding.

This special visit was a memorable chapter in our school’s ongoing commitment to global learning and cultural exchange. We look forward to continuing to deepen these international friendships in the years to come.
